"Being baptized at my home away from home. This is the place I am strongest in my faith and I was able to do it with all my wonderful Christian friends around. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have these people in my life." "Great memories and fun days working with staff and our precious youth. We wanted our kids to see the beauty of our Lord Jehovah in nature, in worship and in the lives of Christian teachers and counselors! 1974--2005" |
"My first year as a counselor this past summer was very stressful but also very rewarding. I loved the amount of help Allison and I got from the rest of the staff. I hope that I've made an impact on the kids, and make them want to keep on coming back for many summers. This camp has done so much for me spiritually, and I'm hoping that it eventually has that effect on them looking back at these days. I would be a different me if I didn't have camp. It has all my best friends in one place. I hope that I'm connected to camp for many years to come even after high school." "Oh and being a counselor was one of the best experiences I've ever had at the camp. I finally had the opportunity to help kids with their walk toward God and I love watching their eyes open as they realize all that God has done for them. Sometimes it can be a lot to keep track of the kids but I love it like no other and I look forward to counseling again. Its always the highlight of my summer." |
"Beechwood Hills to me means, love, faith freedom and family. It's not a place it's a bond that holds all past Beechwood Hills campers and staff to future ones to come, a bond that holds them together with one common love, a love for the Lord, for each other and for the world God sent us to in order to help others. Beechwood hills isn't a campground, it's a bond that no matter how old I get or faraway I go, I will always have a family somewhere. Beechwood Hills was my childhood, my growth and I pray it will be for many more to come."
